ALIGNMENT:
One spin around the sun since our feet first touched the cobblestones of Vienna. We were explorers in a foreign land, tangling with destiny. we were t supposed to be here, or maybe, Vienna had always been waiting for us, hidden in the music of our souls. Forayed we did, into a rescheduled concert that arrived like a serendipitous sigh of relief against the backdrop of a world silenced by Covid. We swayed to Moonchild’s cosmic rhythm, the first concert notes caressing our pandemic-weary minds, a soothing balm to the soundless lockdown. The music ignited a spark, a latent desire that sang of returning back to the inherent rhythm of life, to music. As the chords kissed the night and the city lights danced on the Danube, I found myself drawn, not just to Vienna’s bohemian charm, but to something deeper, something truer. A calling as ancient as the universe itself, as profound as a forgotten melody. The strings of my heart strumming a tune that echoed a truth I’d been hesitant to admit- it’s important to come home to what you love, even if the path isn’t charted, even if the melody isn’t familiar. A gentle question from a wise doula swept my back to the dreams of my child self, her words unlocked a hidden truth- “what would little Devon want?”. In that moment, it all clicked. The song of my soul found it’s rhythm, and Vienna was the symphony. And so, here we are. A year later, citizens of Vienna’s grand orchestra, finding our true north in the maze of music and art, turning the mundane into the magical, the routine into the rhythmic. The aroma of Viennese coffee fills our lungs, the taste of creativity our life. Our existence is a dance of alignment, a symphony of being, of living, of artistic expression. The theme of our lives, the song of our souls- alignment. Aligning our passion with purpose, our dreams with reality. Answering the call of creativity within us, embracing the rhythm of Vienna around us. From the vibrant streets of Vienna, I send you a melody of life, a symphony of love, and a hymn of alignment. May you find your rhythm, may you dance to the song in your soul.
